Let me tell you a little about our situation, my name is Mike and I am 39 and on SSI,
I have two beautiful children ages 6 and eight. Last month their mother
supposedly lost our rent/mortgage payment.

She took off and now I am stuck trying to pay the rent this month
and last months as well. I am renting to own my home and my
initial rental period is (18mos.) I had to do it this way because it is owner finance
ans the 18mos will be up in March of 2012 and then I will start the purchase
and have all documents in my name.

The house is a fixer up and I have put almost my whole back pay from
my SSI into this place and do not want to lose it. The guy I am purchasing
the house from has already told me that he will evict us if I don't have everything
caught up by September third so if I can get some help I need to tell him it is coming
soon. I need a total of $1800.00 to catch everything up (which includes part of my
utilities.

I am not looking for something for nothing, a friend and myself will be starting a
business selling italian ices with our tax money and no matter the outcome of this
request I would like to dedicate one day three times a year where all profits are
for your chosen organization, people will know that the day is for charity. I would make
it known who the organization is and if they have one, give their website which will hopefully not
only get them the donation from our business but maybe some visitors that will become
recurring donators. I am not looking for a hand out, just a helping hand in a time
of need for my children and myself.

Any help from you will be greatly appreciated. I am also willing to make small monthly
payments to repay for the help so that you will be able to help another person/family
in need like us. like Thank you for taking the time to read about

like to ask for anything and feel like a fool for doing so but the urgency of our situation and
time frame I have to do it in is just impossible so I decided to give this a try, I would really

i am in the process of a divorce from a marriage that lasted seven years. Yes we had a lot of rocky times and things just would not seem to come together in this marriage. I supportef my husband the entire time we were married. He was abusive at times and did nothing to contribute to this family. After all this, he leaves me. He also left me with about 1900 dollers in bills. I have for the most part got the bills caught up, but thanksgiving and christmas are upon us and I do not have the money to even buy the things neccessary for the holiday meals, none the less christmas gifts. Hello, We are a family of 6
I am in need of help this Christmas for any or all of my children, My husband has been on and off unemployment for the last year and a half, because were a little older it's hard for him to find a new job. I was hoping to be in a better situation this year but it has only gotten worse. We have had utilities turned off because we couldn't pay our bills lost just about everything except our house. We have 4 boys ages 19, 13, 7 and 18 months. 2 of which have Autism high function and verbal which is a blessing in itself!
I am willing to send copy's of the receipts showing what I purchased for them if gift cards are sent to them.

I was turned away from the Salvation army Christmas program and several other's because they had sign ups in October or are not helping in my area this year, I am stuck now. The children already donated some of their old toy's and clothes that were no longer needed or played with to charity, I am praying I can put a few new things under the tree for them.

im a concern grandmother and i have a daughter living in wayne hills. she has 3 children ages .boys 5,boy 1 and girl 3. also she has been taking care of 2 nefews ages 3 and 4. she is in desperate need of xmas presents and food for them.i live in columbus ohio and is on disability.i went down a week ago and these kids dont even have a xmas tree. and the kids looked at me and said grandma santa claus is'nt coming here to see us this year.i believe in miricles and im praying that someone could please see this and help them. i would do everything i could but i dont know what else to do.so if anyone can help down there for these kids i would appreciate it so much. please email me at janet_gillespie2001@yahoo.com if theres anyone can help my grandkids this year.thank u so much and have a very merry xmas. god bless

Its been awhile since I have had a chance to log on because my kids and I lost our home and have been homeless sleeping in shelters, strangers houses, and on the streets it hasnt been good I kost my mother and then my home and all I have left is my kids if you can help me I would for ever be in debt to you, my kids are all I have left please help me keep them.

Hello Everyone,  

     I am keeping busy with my new mission, and have invited friends to come on here and help. I want to try to get help for as many families as I can. People wake up! You have something to give. This website is about helping each other. Nothing feels better than giving, well recieving does feel pretty good...but giving of yourself is the best gift that you can give. It does not have to just be on here, though that is why we are here. See if you have an elderly neighbor that you could do something for this holiday season. Maybe even a relative. Shovel a walk way, take over a warm meal, do an errand. I also am putting out another shout out for help with shipping costs for the boxes I am sending out to families on here. Please, Please, help! I had no idea how much postage was going to cost until I took packages to the post office yesterday.

     I will need help to get the rest of these gift boxes off. Donate 5, 10, 20 bucks whatever you can afford. One box costed 34.89 to send. I am not even in the middleclass income bracket, so I need help to get what I have to others. I have asked those that I sent to to please post when they get their package, to post so you all know I am doing what I say I am. I know their are scams all over so I do understand the reluctance to donate money to me for this cause. I do swear though, that the money is for this cause. Every little bit will help, I know most boxes will cost less than 34.00, but the point is that I have several boxes to send out with toys, clothes etc... and not enough funds. If you can give please do.

     We are all here to give help and recieve help. Nobody should feel ashamed to ask for help, because that is something that we all have to do in life. There is no shame in asking for a helping hand. I have seen some of you post that. We were put on this earth to help each other, that is why we all have different talents and skills. We all need to get involved and do what we can. I have asked for help when I needed it, and I give help when I can, that is how it is supposed to work.

     I know there are some who do not celibrate Christmas, and that is okay, but if you have something to share or give, it should not matter the reason, the need is the focus. It is the need of the kids, the parents, and everyone else that is the focus. I love Christmas, and I know it is not all about gifts, but that is how we celibrate it. Kids expect Santa to come and bring them presents, those of you with kids know what I mean. 

     I know that not everyone on this website is not here for a need, and I know many give. I want to Thank all of those that are helping these families, and it should continue all year long. There are birthdays, and families that need clothes, or just a bill paid. We can all pitch in to help each other. This is why I was drawn to this page.

Nathan was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at 10 weeks. A rare rash, resembling an acid burn, covered his skin, and discolored his little legs.

At 6 months, a G-tube was inserted in his tiny tummy to assist with feedings.

At 10 months, he developed a severe oral aversion and completely stopped eating solid foods for over 2 yrs.

During his short life, he has been hospitalized 14 times, to battle numerous infections.

Nathan is now 3 ½

With the help of feeding therapy, this past year, he has slowly started eating again… however, everyday is a struggle.

Nathan needs full-time care and has amassed thousands of dollars in medical costs related to his care.

The family is overwhelmed.

Something is wrong here, I have a gut feeling this isn't right - there are many programs set up for families this size and even programs through the military that offer assistance... Important things were left out - like how was she injured and a ton of other issues - like what help have they sought out? But there's a messaging system set up... Please help me understand - I'm an Officer - I may be able to help with some information...

I am a single mother of a beautiful bright little boy who just turned one.  In addition, this past week, I took in my two sisters ages 8 & 12 who were homeless & living in GA.  I am in desperate need of holiday help, I am not asking for much, ANYTHING would be a blessing to these children.  I hate myself for the fact that they are hurting & I can not stop it.  I want to be able to give them a Xhristmas they deserve.  AS I said, I am not asking for much, ANYTHING would be appreciated.    My son loves naything that is Elmo, Winnie the Pooh, cars, etc... As for the girls, the 8 year old loves books, coloring, Plly Pockets, Brats, doodle bears, and computer games.  The 12 year old loves clothes and at her age it seems to be the ultimate definition of status.  She also loves music, Nelly Furtado, Chris Brown, etc...  She also loves to read and loves anytype of hair accessory, like straightners and makeup.  ANYTHING that can help would be greatly appreciated.

I was wondering if anyone may have some information or ideas on how to recieve help with christmas and winter coats for my children.  I am usually on the giving end of this spectrum, but in november i gave birth to triplets which instantly doubled the number of children we had.  We had to get a larger house for our family to fit into.  And the triplets expenses have been many.  I never realized how expensive things are until i had to buy them in triplicate.  I have to stay at home, i am unable to work due to the fact i broke my neck in two places in an unfortunate car accident.  Im lucky to get around at all.  And at this point, even if i were able to work.  The cost of child care for six children exceeds any amount  i would be qualified to make.  I feel horrible that i cannot give my children what they  deserve to have, my husband works two jobs as it is just to meet our monthly bills.  There is no such thing as extra money in this house.  We litterally live paycheck to paycheck and we don't even have any extras.  Just bare necessities.  The diapers and formula for the babies alone is a huge monthly expense.  We would truly appreciate any help or information that we can get.  God bless all who read this.

A deserving family that could use alot of TLC.

I know a family that have hit a very rough time. I know that there are so many people in the world that are  in need and I wish that there were more that I could do to help, but I am unable. This family that I speak of has 8. There are six children and two adults. The mother, Nicole, is an ex- law enforcement officer and has dedicated her life protecting and serving the community for 12 years. Last year, she suffered a stroke while on duty. She was then told that she has a tumor and blood on the brain. She was not expected to live, but the doctors have worked wonders. Ultimately, god deserves the credit. She is doing better, but still unable to work. She and her husband have been so strong though out this whole ordeal. I have great respect for them both. I am writing this for them because I know that they would never ask on their own. They don't just need help for Christmas, but for other things too. The father, Joshua, is in the military but had to come home when Nicole got sick so he does not have any income either . I am so sad that something this difficult happen to a family that is so good and dedicated to each other. Their children are made up of 3 boys and 3 girls. the boys are 15, 9 and 5. The girls are identical twins girls 4 and a baby that is almost 2. I asked Nicole about Christmas and she simply said that she was happy to have life and a family that loves her so much. Her 15 year old son is amazing because unlike a lot of children his age, he is simply greatful for what he has. My heart goes out to them and all of the families that struggle. I have been in this families company along with a number of other officers for a number of years and we are proud of Nicole for continuing to fight. However, she has been pretty depressed lately. A special freind of the family

 It started 5 years ago I had a decent job and so did my husband.  I was pregnant with our first child together and already raising two of my own and a step-daughter.  I gave birth to our daughter 4wks early and my comp pay was delayed for 6 weeks, and husband lost job 2 days after her birth..  We moved to my home state where it took 2 ms to find job, lived in 2 bedroom trailer with 4 kids. We filed bankruptcy paying 720 mnth for 5 years is hard.  Husband has since been laid off three times and my health had prohibited me from working.  I was pregnant in 2005, gave birth at 31 weeks, been on bed rest before then for 2 mnths, emergancy c-section 5 hours away from family in hospital, and had two more surgeries in 6weeks to follow. Son was okay at birth considering, but has since stayed sick, and has had surgeries, asthma, and sweat disorder. I want to work so bad but due to husbands hours and sons allergies, it is impossible. we don't live in trailer but still in three bedroom house it 's crowded.  I realy just want a sounding board.  We are about to get dismiissed from our bankruptcy but not because its through, we have missed payments.  My children had to start school nad it is so expensive.  We dont' qualify for aid.  Know one considers us paying out so much in bills we must do by law.  I guess we should have let the vehicles go.. how would we get to Drs.1 hour from here for my children???? How would husband get to work??? No public transportation here.This is just some of the bad luck we've had..... I just keep thinking its good luck with a cloud over it.. I could have died, my son could have died. There is a lining, its just hard to find through my dark cloud.  I just want to keep my cars,   not but 9 months left, and maybe we can catch up on our other billsand rent .   I am so unlike myself.  I cut my own hair now, go with out clothes and makeup,  it'sjust not me, but my kids and husband need it more than I. It just makes a women lose her idenity sometimes and is so depressing. I hope that I don't seem like a joke, I just need some answers. Anyone I have been a mother for thirteen years now since i was 19.  I have had such heat ache in trying to provide for my children and not ever staying on top hurts.

We are a couple living in North St. Paul, Minnesota.  We believe that we posess the skills, knowledge, education, love, caring, faith, and desire to help children who need a family.  We are looking to be foster parents and start a foster home for children who are in Minnesota.  I myself have a Masters' Degree as a family therapist and have been in the field since 1996.  Over the last 10 years I have worked as a county social worker, family therapist, coordinator of mental health services in a private organization, worked as direct line staff with orphan's, juvenile delinquent children, as well and the developmentally disabled.   I have seen the need for foster care for children of all ages throughout my time as a mental health professional.  My wife has been a hair stylist for 8 years and has been raising our 21 month old son; and she feels that this idea of becoming a foster parent is our calling in life.  My wife and I truely feel that we have all that it takes to help children and improve our community by starting a foster home.  We are looking for as much assistance to make children's dreams come true as well as fulfilling our calling.
